Erevo has part number 5382X and 3978 in the center to hold the spider gears more secure while the Slayer spiders are a simple pin setup.

VERY Good eye for detail! Thank you.

My first set of Stock E Revo diffs lasted 50 or 60 packs at least. Life wasn't easy on them either.

A Tooth broke off the rear pinion and the gears began chewing the floating particles up.

I wonder if the Slayer Diff would be relatively as tough?

Well they added the I-bar to the newer E-Revo's to beef them up to handle the BL power better. Adding the I-bar thus changed the design of the cup.

The Slayer diffs are slightly weaker in design but will hold their own to some mild to strong BL setups.
