Just picked up a 8ight-t 1.0 - 05.13.2009, 12:49 AM

Ok.......... I have a lot of explaining to do!

Wanted to get into 1/5. The only reason for that was because of the KM baja. It was affordable. Now that I look further into it, the car is not perfect. And when you have a car that size, you cannot really replace and upgrade like you can on the rc18.

Was searching RC tech and saw a 1.0 roller for $200 shipped. Asked if the guy wanted trades, said no. Long story short, I told him I only had $135, so he took out tires, wheels, and body. $135 shipped to my door.

I got badlands that would look great on it. Just need some white wheels, and a body!

Pretty happy with the deal.

(the -t is pending payment but the guy said he would list it as sold until i get it)

Great deal! The 8ight-T is one of the toughest trucks I have owned. Not a fan at all of the standard hardware, but its a Losi, so you can expect anything else... Enjoy the new truck!

You have to actually pay for it to say that you "just picked up..." Otherwise thats what happens, and you'll be Always Dreamin...

Yes, it is always a good idea to have money available when you start looking to buy something... Most good deals go very quickly.

Man, that sucks... That isn't the first time that has happened to you either. Remember the CRT.5? I don't think he should have sold it because he made a deal with you...

It happened with that FLM Rustler, the crt.5, and now this. For the reccord, I had money in hand. It was late last night, parents were in bed. Told him I'd get it to him after school, he said he would hold it. Then I found out in class that he had sold it locally.

But being fair to the guy - you hammered the guy down and made him take out lots of stuff. 135 shipped is about 110 in pocket vs 200 with a local sale.

A little off but understandable...

I can see where he was coming from. I had him down to $135 shipped, and he got a lot more out of it. He was going to take out tires, wheels, and body, but still, a great deal. I have yet to find a better deal on a truggy.

$165 is cheap, no doubt. But with the way the economy is in, I think I can do better. I almost had a deal on a MBX5 for $135 until Ian reminded me it was a Buggy, and not a truggy.

I know personally that selling at this time is horrible. No one is interested in my stuff! But it's also a good time to look for some deals.
