The info in the rc18 is incorrect, the gear is in fact a 48 pitch gear. As far as i know the duratrax is the only ones i seen with a metric gear, you can get the Robinson metric 48 pitch for tamiyas through tower

Actually the RC18 series does use .5mod. IIRC Novak has the pinions needed as the 1/18th system they made has a 1/8"(3.2mm) shaft as well

Where did you get that incorrect info you take to be a fact when its not?
