Hi !

how many watt's do i need for racing on a grass track with a hb ve8 buggy?
i would like to be able to keepup with the niro guy's :)

really depends on how much run time you need and how many cells you plan on running

cheep and simple is the castle 2650 on 4 cell, it will easly walk away from the nitros but you will have to know how to drive in order to win

1000watts is enough...
Most tracks are astro turf here en every body is racing with the tekin buggy motors, MMM combo's or the losi motors.
I have a 2200kv MMM combo in my buggy but I don't like it that much. It's too much power imo. I think I'll go with a Tekin 2050kv/1900kv combo next month. I doubt if 1900kv will be enough for the European tracks...
