1/8 buggy set up - 02.11.2007, 08:41 PM

Well, I finally decided to convert my XTM Xtermiantor Deluxe to brushless instead of e-revo or e-maxx, mainly because it will be so much cheaper. I have already sent the buggy to Mike so he can make the motor mount. He should be recieving it sometime at the end of next week.

Now my question is what set up should I run in this thing. I only bash, so I need a really long run time. Also, I don't know if anyone does this, but I would like to have one battery to hopefully last a whole bashing session. I was think of running a 5s or 6s 10,000 battery from Max Amps. I was thinking, about 40 - 50 minute run times if that is even possible, a little less would be fine too i think, but then I'd purchase 2 batteries to use. I am still not decided on the batteries nor anything else. I was planning on waiting for the Mamba Monster Max, but from the sounds of it, Castle Creations will be lucky to release it by 2008. So now I am in search of a different set up. As far as speed goes, I would like to keep up with my bro's picco 26 revo... so about 50 mph, would be ideal.

I was thinking about a 9920 or quarks 125b, but still not really sure. I would like to keep this on the low side, hopefully below $350... more like $300 though.

Just let me know what a good set up would be and what will work well.

Thanks a lot.
