Question Schulze 18.97 No Reverse - 06.05.2005, 02:13 PM

I'm using a Schulze 18.97 controller with a Plettenberg MAXXimum and I can't get my E-Maxx to go into reverse. I have the micro switch set to the proper position, according to the instructions. Any ideas??

Thanks.

I'm looking at the manual know it says the # 3 switch should in the # 1 postion. You might want to try doing the programing with power off. You may also want to check your radio for proper settings.

YEAH!

keep the gas on at least 75% of backwards/brake for at least 2-3 seconds. It will reverse, somehow.. Eventually.. when it feels like reversing.. if you ask it polite..

Don't you love your schulze?!

Oh gosh, is this something that every 18.97 has?

Sounds aweful.

I somewhat dramatized it, it will reverse, but you need to wait 2-3 seconds before it does..

I'll give it a try this afternoon, with a little more patience. Thanks for the info!

Well, I figured it out! I had to adjust the Brake End-Point Adjustment (EPA) to 75% and now it works. Duh! I should've known that it was something simple like that!:D Everything is good to go now.
