People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

Until I see how tough those diffs are in a truck that heavy I wouldn't buy one. I've seen the massive tranny in a 5b explode ( they are tough as nails) and it looked MUCH larger than the losi's. Hope it works,I'll need something to race my new 5sc flux against!...whenever IT comes out...

Personally never had a Mlst but the MERV diffs are complete crap and I went through those about every other pack.

I've been suprised at all the smaller rigs coming out lately, but have also found myself looking at them and liking what i'm seeing. I ran a 8B this year for the first time and had fun with it, even against my b'in law with my old 8T. The big stuff just takes up so much space when you have 5 or 6 rigs and all the spare parts.
One thing I noticed, and am wondering if anyone else has thougth this too. I'd like to see the tires higher than the shock mount post. Why? I crash a lot! This one doesn't look like you'd have to go much bigger with the tires to get there.
Wonder if there will be an ability to hop it up using 8B or 10T parts....
Also, I bet this thing would haul ass on 3S.....

I do have some concerns with this though. 1/14 scale using 1/18 electronics. Size looks pretty close to the original crt.5 and most everyone was running 1/10 components if not larger on those. How well is that little nimh pack going to hold up? There doesn't seem to be any room for a 1/10 scale pack on there either so your stuck running a 1/18 pack

I just checked and the merv dimensions are very close to the Losi which weighs just over 2 pounds. I think a CRT.5 is quite a bit bigger right? I like how the Losi uses a mini servo instead of a micro like the merv. I'll wait a bit to see how durable they are, but Id like to pick one up, should be a fun little car.

In looking at this further, it could make a nice little on road project for p lot racing.
