200A, 14S lipos ESC to come!!! -

Here is a picture of my controller. It should be ready soon as I was told the factory was waiting for one electronic component. The engineer have told me that production was stopped due to the lack of MOSFETs, but now I'm here LOL. The engineer will also do some tests before they ship it out to see if everything is within specs and I was told they will try the ESC with various different motors and voltage to make sure everything works fine.
I want to hear on this! Could be the ultimate controller!
How much?
It should be just about the same size as a Schulze 40.160 and no price yet. I will have to set a price after I receive all the 20 controllers. The good thing is that this controller will mainly focus on the larger scale vehicles such as the 1/8, 1/7, 1/6, 1/5 and 1/4 scale car/buggy/truck. I got tired of manufactures out there only making big controllers for the aircraft side of the hobby.
Looks like a solid ESC. Do you know if it will be able to be programmable my computer?
I hope it is a solid ESC. The engineer told me that programming will be with a program card, but I have to wait and see with the first unit. What I told the engineer is that I wanted to keep things simple and make sure everything works good specially the brakes. Programming with a PC is good, but not really user friendly when you have to change setting on the go. It basically means you have to get a Laptop and take it to the races or your favorite bashing spot.
Price will be determined after all the controllers get to me. I will have to add everything such as the shipping, MOSFETs (I sent the MOSFETs to the factory) and the price of the controller and service from the factory. This controller will not be for everybody. People have to be careful when it comes to high voltage and high amperage electronics like this. I've been messing with high voltage ESC since the early Aveox systems and I own a few of the newer controllers. So I do have little experience with high voltage ESC.
Looking good so far. Hope to get my hands on one after you finish all the testing and start selling them. Thanks for keeping everyone informed on the progress.

I will keep everyone post on new information regarding this ESC. I have mentioned in another thread that a couple of things could go wrong. The engineer told me that components could fail in manufacturing and the other is the factory never delivers. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for everything to go smooth. I'm also waiting for them to give me an answer on a few 100A+ ESC that will handle 7S, 10S and 14S lipos. I might also ask for a 80 and a 100 volts ESC just for us vehicle guys.
First thing that came into my mind, but I was only able to find 800pcs. of the MOSFET and the lead time is over 380 days. I'm supposed to receive other part numbers for alternative MOSFETs and if I they are available I'll buy them and make more ESC.

80 and 100v?!! You plan on a REAL HV setup aren't you? 100V and 200A would be good for a scooter, never mind a car! That would be good for large 1/5+ scale vehicles though, but the price tag on those lipos is gonna hurt!

Someone has to compete with CC and that SHV controller, but like I said they are missing out on us vehicle users LOL. I will wait for a definite answer from the factory. They already said it is easier to make 80 and 100 volts ESC. I will be able to use my 2 36V packs in series for with the 80V ESC, but I will definitely get a 1/5 scale car to try the 100V unit if they make the controllers. One thing I will say right now, I will only have vehicle ESC made.
