My boredom buggy - 04.25.2008, 01:40 AM

Well i've been sitting around lately and realized that i still had my brushless stuff from my revo lying around; so i decided to put it to good use. I found a old my old Kyosho ultima from about 7 years ago and tried to wire everything up. Its not yet complete i still need to build some new wing mounts cuz i cant find the originals for some reason, and i bought a high downforce bug wing cuz i figured i needed one. After that all i need to do is build a motor cover and a really sturdy wheelie bar and im ready to go. Well everything else fits pretty good except my battery which sticks out of the body. but over all the 7XL MM and 4s8000 works pretty good, but i havent really even gotten close to pulling the trigger full throttle in fear that it will end up in a wall or something. So yeah let me know what you think, im pretty sure im going to end up having to get some custom milled diff gears. Oh yeah the zip ties are to protect the motor, havent had time to make the motor guard yet so i pulled a nitro trick to be a temporary fix.

Here you can actually see the size of the xl motor compared to the bug itself

I love overpowered anything, except the overpowered male enhancement pump i bought, I still cringe when I hear a vacuum. Nice work though!

That motor looks huge on there! (and familar, lol). I bet that really needs the wheelie bar!

yeah i was just messing around with it tonight and it would pop the front up with just the lightest touch on the trigger, so i put zip ties on there to protect the heatsink and motor.

yeah I did that with my rustler once. 8xl on 4s and it was a monster. I had it geared 17/54 and I never could actually top it out.

Try extenze, much safer than the vacuum do-dads. Also if you are bored, google Goatse.
