I am really thinking on an attempt to convert this to brushless. I think the hardest part would be a battery. My plan is to make a brick instead of long and skinny. If anyone could shed some light on any suggestions that would be great.

I've been thinking of doing one of these for a while now, just had other things that had higher priority. Hard to say what will fit until you get it, tear it apart, and remove the smelly nitro parts.

Yeah just figured if someone has done this already i could get some pointers. My only problem is i dont really have access to a machine shop to make any custom parts. I did see they have a electric version which has the same frame and metal parts as the nitro but that is discontinued. Wonder who else makes rc motorcycles??

You don't really need a machine shop. Just a dremel and some other hand tools to make pretty much anything you want. Sure, it takes a heck of a lot longer, but think of the satisfaction!

Here's a good resource - mostly nitro, but there have been electrics. Good sources for custom parts too.

It's not discontinued...Tower just doesn't carry it.
