Hydra 120 thermal shutdown? - 06.25.2008, 05:55 PM

Does the Hydra 120 have a thermal shutdown? I didn't see anything about it in the manual.

Yes, it does. Set at about 110C I believe (off the top of my head -- I'm at home.)

thats pretty hot....it above the temp of boiling water...ooouch.....

Pretty hot, yeah. But the MOSFETs are rated to run as high as 170C -- so it's pretty low for them.
