Just thought I'd pass this info along...a company that makes beadlocks for crawlers has started producing them for the Slash:

Stock Wheel Weight .060z (Thats not even 1 oz) CAC Wheels 2.8oz
$105 for rims that weigh over 4 times as much. I'm not getting in line till I do some more looking.

you need to consider how much cooler they look than stock! its 9 oz. it should not change TOO much.

They are heavier, but Delrin is much stronger that the typical plastic used for wheels. And yes, there is definitely a "cool factor" that comes along with beadlocks.
