brushless losi 8ight buggy.. alum chassis braces needed? - 09.04.2008, 11:09 AM

Anyone run both? Are they worth the ~30.00 for the front/rear aluminum chassis braces, or are they just show? (1515 1.5d, 4s 5k lipo)

Thanks!

I don't think aluminum braces are needed at all. The is no real leverage or torque on any part of these parts so I don't see how they could break. In fact I run the front plastic brace with a screw missing and haven't had any issues.
