Your talking about the OS18 for your Revo correct?

From what I've heard, the OS18TZ is a better race motor than the TM but it's not a direct fit for the Revo. With some work you can make it fit though.

You would be better off with the G2R though ;)

Yup!

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

What my friend does is that he sticks a tm crankshaft into a tz and replaces the carb with TM also! he calls it the MZ! The TM has more low end power while TZ has more high end.

I use the TM in my Revo. Plenty of power and runs like a top. I know someone who does the "mz" mod as well, due to a blown cranbk, I believe in the the tz.

i would get teh one with the pullstart. Realize that the TZ is not a drop in! it will need modifications!!! It wont be that simple!

From what i hear on the Sgrid, the tm has more usable power on small tight tracks. Roy from rd racing uses a tm in his revo, and he won the west or north west , RC pro series in SMT. The TZ moe top end but its not really uasable on smaller tracks from what they say.

well my local track is VERY big. the front straightaway is at least 60 feet. heres a link to there website. http://www.krazykajunraceway.com/ the layout is alot different but its still very big.

im thinking the tz would be a better engine. for this track anyway. its what everybody recommends and everybody uses. even the stock-mod guys use it. i only race in the sportsman.

Which ever motor you get besure to go to rdracingproducts.com and read about the fix they have for the os tz & tm. There is a spacer they make to reduce the premature wear caused by exsesive play in the con rod.

Post your ? on his forum he can recomend to you the best motor for your revo. Roy is the man when it comes to revos .
