Well, i'am looking for a new motor for my slash. I've burn my 10L today, maybe by some sand go in the can were the wire goes out of the endbell.
My question is: What do you think about an "XL" can in the slash??
A 6XL or 7XL, on 11.1 volts i know that's realy to big for a slash, but i think that this motor will be happy to be in a very light truck.
Never need to worried about temps of gearing.
id go with the 7xl on 3s. it will turn 27k rpm unloaded and rpm will only drop a little since the truck is so small.
and then you can gear it tall if you want.
the 6xl would work but i dont think you could gear as high without creating some heat
1509 too small for a Slash? People run those in 1/8th buggies. There is no way you can consider a 1509 too small for a Slash. If anything, it's a waste of money going with a motor that nice in a traction limited 2wd truck.
I've paddles on my slash skellyo, and i'am only play in sand pit, so i want a motor with lot of torque, and stay cool.
Corect me if i'am wrong, but the 1512 serie is comparable to an "L" can Feigao and the 1509 to an "S" can???
Spending $200.00 for a motor, on a $170.00 or a $1700.00 truck, what's the difference
I want a good motor, that's it that's all.
I've burn a Feigao 10L in less than 3 pack, and it's not an operator error, believe me.
So now, i want a good motor.
Thank you that's exactly what i want to know, but iam crazy, and for the $10.00 of diff between the 1509 and 1512, i think i'll take the 1512
Like that, if i decide to put it in an 1/8 buggy, i don't have to buy another motor
