Bearing replacement. - 10.19.2008, 11:00 PM

Has anybody replaced the bearings in their Tekno Neu 1515? I picked up some ceramic bearings I would like to put in it.

Did you check the bearings RPM rating first? I would make sure they are rated well above 60k RPM's. Other than that it should be straight forward to replace them. I doubt you will see any performance increase though as Neu using pretty much top notch materials as it is.

I'm just thinking for when they will need to be replaced. So far they're ok, I figure they are probably ceramics from the factory anyway, or something just as good.

I just clean them and put a drop of oil in them before each race day, now if I could just finish a main, today I was 2.5 minutes short of 20 mins. I think it's mostly in my trigger finger.
