What's so funny about it? That's a bom-proof torpedo chassis made by Bomb Proof products.

Have a read here so you know instead of laughing about it:

I guess it was way before your time.

By the way, he's a member here too and hopefully he'll chime in.

I wish I had one. I think Linc is working on his second. We'll all see what it goes for.

ha! No! If I had this it would not be for sale. If Linc doesn't snatch up the other one I may, I just want the clear, not the smoked.

The racebomb is two inches over stock of the original emaxx. So i would guess the torpedo is the same length .

Sorry. I shipped that one out to Linc last week. He already has it. :-)

I didn't realize they were such a hot commodity! I should double my price! j/k

Yup, I have 2 torpedos and a racebomb. I also have another set of torpedo braces. I would like a lightning chassis too. BPP stuff is nicely made, that is for sure.

Plus the chassis are long, 2 inches more than a stock 3906 does sound about right to me.

Well, it is the longest available. So if you want a truggy length maxx it is about the only choice. It is lighter than a full al chassis, and nearly as strong. I like the bomb shaped cutouts myself. Plus I think the build quality is better than most of the machined parts I have purchased. And it is simple, so lees chance to break.

Plus I have found most of my BPP products used, and quite cheap.

To each his own on the looks and desireability...

I've owned a Bomb Proof BL E-Maxx. It was my first BL setup with an Aveox system. Not bad, but my diffs were blowing up like crazy.

My lst diff conversion cures the diff issues. My aveox on 8s lipo does fine in my bpp torpedo.
