Trev's Snowmobile - 01.18.2009, 02:44 AM

Thought it should be placed here.

So far,
Dtx intellispeed Forward only esc
Titan 12t (Tough motor, been in a pede, revo 3.3 and now a sled)
TQ Radio
7 Cell ni-mh
Cut windsheld

Getting repainted tomorrow

So far, its running flaw less, turning could be a little tighter, but i know what the problem is and i'll fix it tomorrow. For a total of 5 hours of gluing and such. Im happy with the turn out, because a revo with hole shots can't make it threw powder.

Where did you get that thing? I want one, as long as its cheap. Looks like it was easy to mod as well.

I have to get the video cam from my neice so you see this thing on 4800kv losi on 3s its funny so fast its a joke, the lipo puffs huge in seconds. later plans are a 2750 1512 or 09 on 4s with a MM or maybe a boat controller as it doesnt seem to need brakes

Ah, nicee, nah, really don't need brakes. In the real world, you don't use brakes alot on real sleds.

WOW! I have that same yellow ski! I was pondering how to make it faster and more responsive. You pretty much solved my problems! Now I just need to open mine up.

Looks great though! Is the yellow ski the same as the red one, at least on the inside?

whatever you do try not to trash the stock gear case. thats the easiest way to get power to the track. i modded the track drivers tho so the track wouldnt skip anymore. so i new the stock gear drive would fail. now i have to come up with a custom drive setup witch is going to be hard to do.

im sure trev wouldnt mind. afterall this is the project x thread and how can you make a project x if you cant get it apart.

there should be three tabs around the gear case warm the tabs up with a blow dryer and carfully take it apart. i saw warm it so the tabs dont snap.
