is mmm the best one for me? - 11.10.2008, 10:53 AM

hello.
i want to buy a good, powerful and reliable esc and i have a mmm v2 business in hands.

is a good esc or it continues with problems and failures?
can i connect 4 or 5s lipo´s direct to it or do i need to solder a external bec like you people do with the mamba max 1/10 esc?

the esc will be to use on 3s lipo for now but in the future to use on a convert truggy.

regards and any help will be welcome.

we are asking the same question. and it can run on 6s without an external BEC. it will easily handle 3s.
cross your fingers

The truth, as the things are, until five or six months don't pass without they fail me MMM would not catch.

I believe that in MGM you have more reliable options right now.

there are not enough v3's out to say wether they still have problems but most as of now are running. if it does burst into flames then castle will happily replace them.

there are no problems with the fans. it is mainly user error or modifications that people do to "fix" the problems that were never there. yah the velineon will work. make sure the one you are buying specifically says V3

Happily it will be for Castle... because to the poor person that their splendid MMM has been bought and it leaves him/her afire I don't believe that it is very happy.

... I no longer tell you if it belongs as me to the foreigner and he/she knows that the substitution goes him/her to take more than one month.

A greeting.

if you do get it you can just get a free new case from castle and update firmware and voila! V3!
