WOW! it looks cool, the 5B was already bad a$$ car and i know that FD did a conversion on it but i think these would be wicked on a neu 2215 2.5Y and like 10-12s. only question is where to run?

I have a 5t (black) coming next week, then the conversion to brushless begins.
Neu 2215 2y with 10s. Not sure on esc maybe mgm 250.45 (upgraded mgm 250.35) or maybe a CC HV240 Hydro? Batteries are still unknown to at this point, there are polyquest 5s 60000, Flightpowers 5s 7400, possible, dont everyone fall down at once MA 5s 8400. I would just go with the PQ but the 6000 doesn't excite me to much. Flightpowers will be a hard fit (they are 308mm long) There is a strong dislike for the MA on this board and else were, but I haven't hurt one yet. The baja 5T might push the MA over limit and cause a blow-up if they truely are overrated. MA by the way would be 940.00 for 10s (2 5s packs). Feel free to chime in on battery and esc choices.

Sweet, be sure to keep us updated on that build. Don't have the room here to run a 5B or I would of bought one.

Orderd a Neu 2215 3Y (kv 480) yesterday. I think I found a spare 2215 to use as a mock up until mine shows up. Using the calculator in the form, I should be running 51 mph on 10s and 60 mph on 12s. Leaning towards the CC HV240 Hydro as a controller. If anyone has suggests on a different controller please chime in. Batteries are down to Flight Powers or Polyquest at the moment. I'm not planning on getting lipos until I have the truck in hand and can measure the space I have to work with.
