The buggy is super stable on the street. It handles 50+ mph speeds like nothing as I used to have the HV4.5 in there. I'll find out the top speeds of the HV7.5 and the feigao 9L on 4s and 5s for sure when I get my eagle tree data logger which should be in the mail soon.

Why are you running the novak motor? The castle neu 2650 would be killer...

Actually, that's the next motor on my list. The novak motors are about 1/2 the price of neu motors, they have sufficient power and they run cool when geared properly, so nothing to complain about.

Aint that the truth.

Those wheels and tires kick your buggy real nice. Make's it pop a little more. We see so many with the dish racing wheels that it's cool to see something else.

What tires are those? I've been looking for some better tires for my street Hyper 7. What kind of top speed on the Novak?

All I ever wanted was an honest weeks pay for an honest days work.

I'll know for sure once I get my data logger with the rpm sensor, but in the range of proper gearing for each motor, assuming the Novak motors hold 85% of their no load kv, (every valid speed measurement I've seen confirms this), I was probably getting at least 47 mph with the HV4.5 geared with a 9 tooth, and 52 mph with a 10 tooth. I don't have the HV4.5 anymore so I'll post the results of the HV7.5 speeds on both 4s and 5s when the data logger gets here, but it should be around 37 mph with novaks recommended gearing of 12/48.
