Are you a gambling man?

I've seen a revo running the 60amp version on 4s lipo; wou;dnt try that myself, but it did run perfectly fine.

Given the price though, I really would just buy an mambamax- wouldnt like to guess what kv to use, but there are other similar conversions around here, plus its easy enough to figure out once you know the diff and tranny ratios etc.

staying cheap is my goal, and i only plan to use it to power a pede and mt2 on 3s. 120 for the combo and extra motor is unbeatable

you could run a 60 amp ESC if you are running at least 8s......

i have a novak SS and LRP 8.5t motor and i get rolling wheelies at 5mph on my bald talons. I found a combo with the 60a ESC and 2 yeahracing 3300kv motors and the programming box for 120 shipped. R those motors to low of a kv for the pede and mt2? I know the VXL is 3500kv, but thats pretty low to start with, and the motor i have now is 5800kv. Would i just need to regear? Lastly, ive heard all good things about yeahracing lipos, any1 know what their motors r like?? thnx

you get good speed with the VXL and 3s I have a VXL Rustler on 4S (but thats a different story) and using a 40 tooth Revo spur and a 16 tooth Mod 1 pinion and I had to remoce the gear cover to make this fit but that is no problem

ya, i dont feel that speed hungry, cuz down time sucks. Arg, the ESC i am running (SS, similar to the havoc) is rated for 120a, but i can only run 2s. I guess its the 60a system i found (includes 2 motors and programming box) vs. the VXL system
