Looks nice, tho the tires seem to look awkward. Long chassis, tiny arms lol.

its not gonna perform near as well as the 1/8th scale, its TOO long and not wide enough once converted, plus you can buy 3-4 regular bodies for the cost of 1 of those 1/5th scale bodies.... i dont see it being worth doing unless your just after shear stunning size and massive presence....

Except for the fact that Fine Design blows! Worst C/S around! If it was by anyone else I might consider it, but I will never deal with them again!

Man, will people never learn... With all of those batteries at the back and that long ass chassis this thing will steer like a bus. At least he could have turned the tranny around, put the servos behinf it and put the motor and battery trays up front. Or ditch the 2 speed, and run decent motors with esc braking...

Looks like std FD crap... At least he painted the chassis....

There's a guy over on lstforums that just ordered one. I'll report his findings when he posts them, but I totally agree with linc.

The stock lst really is a good size. Losi is bringing out a lst "xl" that has a 1" longer chassis. Depending on where they put the stretch (in front or behind the tranny) it may be the chassis to get. I would be happy if they left the tranny in the middle and just extended the chassis 1/2" at both ends. That would solve the tight battery mount in front of the tranny, and give a little more room at the back for motor and esc mounting.

i too was wondering why he hasn't put the packs up front...
Personally, i dont see the point - i mean - i suppose it's good if you want a cheap 5th scale... but even then, it's not a real 5th scale truck as such... kinda more of a cheap 5th scale knock off if you will...
I think that if you are really keen to have it, then go for it man - it is your money to do as you please, and you can offset the funny 'tiny' looking wheels with some jumbo kongs or something i guess to make it look a little more proportioned - as it is tho - it's just plain fugly and not all that well thought out IMO, and more than likely wont handle all that well anyway, so will be more of a presense thing as mentioned before by 'rootar' - sorry =)

I fail to see why everyone thinks its going to handle like crap. Its going to be the same size as a Baja 5B and those dont handle bad, minus that they are 2wd so they SUCK in the air, trust me I had one. At least this will still have 4x4 control.

Its just longer, its not like your adding 10lbs.

Im the guy on the LSTforums that ordered it, I think its totally badass. I really dont care about track handeling as I have an 8T that is good for that. I just want to make the LST even cooler and IMO this is deffinatley it. No one is ever going to step up and do it so I might as well be the guinnea pig on this one.

I like it, im gonna try it. IF it blows then Ill go back to normal, no big deal. I also ordered 1/2" wheel spacers for each side to widen it a bit, give it a better stance, and a Duratrax Firehammer body.

If it aint broke, break it, then fix it.
