Brutal decapitation.

I'd say either RPM towers and some nice 1/8 scale shocks, or some nice UE knuckle head towers and 1/8 scale shocks- ditch the fragile traxxas shocks.

RPM and 1/8th scale all the way. I use 8 CEN Matrix shocks other then brushless it's the best mod I've ever done

go with the RPM, they are more forgiving...so the tower will bend and return...not SNAP

you have that all backwards, you need UE knucklehead towers with plastic proline body mounts,... stock plastic towers and aluminum body mounts is a disaster. No offence, been there done that

The colder weather makes the plastic more brittle also.

Looks like it hit your lipo too. ouch . you got lucky it did'nt tear it. Knucklehead toweres and buggy shocks. I had FLM towers with stock body posts and bent them. They did bend back. The knuckleheads are much nicer though. Buggy shocks are a huge improvement. I used 8 of used these http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-OFNA-LX-ONE-...3A1%7C294%3A50 and these standoffs, But drilles the threads out of them.http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-OFNA-LX-ONE-...3A1%7C294%3A50 and 2 blue crt front springs on the back.

I did that to the tower on my 3905 just by landing on the tires, replaced it and did it again. RPM solved my problem and it was cheap.
