received my V3 case upgrade today....and the foam that is inside the bottom of the V2 case isn't on the new V3 case....with more space between the case and circuit board do you think the foam is still needed ??...should i find some sticky foam to put inside the V3 ??...thanks for the help
How long did it take you to get your case, I sent and email at least 2 weeks ago and have not received my case yet. However I did receive a new V3 and there was foam on the bottom of the case to support the Brain board, but it was not under the fan plug or the BEC coil. Hope that helps.
it took between 2 and 3 weeks ...i was just about to ask the same question yesterday on here and it showed up. it came with new case stickers but didn't include the foam ,thats why i was curious if it was still needed,i may try to find some similar type foam just to be safe....thanks for the reply
I had originally emailed castle and a nice lady got two cases out for me the next day, then Sat I received a care package from castle TWO MORE cases and two replacement fans. Thanks CASTLE.
Got my replacement monster in today It was the new v3 with the new v3 case also the new castle link has 3 wires comming out of it like the old one used to be. Also they put two small socket head screws in with it in a small zip lock bag, I guess they are for your motor, ive read where people have used too long of a screw so i guess that is what they were for.
I still haven't got my case. Hope becuase I live overseas they decided not to send me the update case
I don't think that's the case (pun not intended, honest)...I live in the UK, and received my V3 case about 2.5 weeks after emailing them, which was cool by me. How long have you been waiting? The Castle guys are gonna be pretty busy right now, but they'll get your case out to you.

And if you are overseas it will go by first class mail (which might be a little slow -- depending on where you live.)
Just too expensive to ship any other way.

I'd received an email from Joe Ford requesting me for my address. I don't mind paying for shipping if it's needed. 1st class mail usually reaches Sri Lanka in about 10 days or so.
Yup, that long. I'm sure the post office messed up, not to mention the invoice dates 12/01/8 which is two weeks after I sent my address. But I'm not complaining, I hope the gremlins are gone once and for all now that I have FW 1.20 and the V3 case.
