Converting SC8. 2200 or 2650 combo on 4s? - 02.01.2009, 01:33 PM

Ive been running my e revo on 4s with the 2200 and its awesome. Im gonna do a Associated SC8 conversion and im not sure what combo to use. It will also be a 4s setup but do I need the extra rpms cause of the small tires? Im looking to be in the 35 to 40 mph area with decent temps..

Brushless ..... I put that s... In everything.

It is basically a buggy the 2650 will be fine but so will the 2200 is you gear up a bit...

I'd go with the 2200...

The 2200 gives you more wiggle room and better options. It would be my choice as well.

Since you already have the 2200, it doesn't hurt to try it in a buggy, but you will also get good results with the 2650.

The SC8 is just as heavy or heavier than a truggy because of the roll cage and body so I would go with a 2200 combo.

I vote the 2200 as well. It may be a tad large for a buggy, but will stay cooler due to the extra surface area. Geared for the same speed, either will produce around the same power.
