Need help with a power supply. - 02.09.2009, 12:17 PM

Well my two little 10 powersupplies aint holding up on my twin 989s so id like to just get one large and capable PS something like 15v and 25 amp should handle both my chargers, (charing one 5s at 5a and one 5s at 4a at the same time) so im looking and looking and i dont really need to drop a $150 for a PS so id like to go the other route something in the $50-$60 range

http://www.rc-monster.com/forum/show...t=power+supply

could i convert one of these
http://cgi.ebay.com/Mean-Well-SE-600...3A1%7C294%3A50

or one of these
http://cgi.ebay.com/12v-Power-Supply...3A1%7C294%3A50

or maybe

I did this mod and it works fine - Chose a PSU with dual 20amp rails.

Howevery the 12v input is dipping to 10.5v when charging 6s A123 at 10amp - seems to work though so not sure i should care...

maybe a year. I've only used it to test car amps. I just didn't want to convert over a computer ps so I bought one that was already.
