Bored? I made some videos .... - 02.23.2009, 11:43 AM

I've been quite bored recently so I threw together a few short videos.

Some are interesting, some are ... who knows?

Be sure to click "Watch in HD".

Time lapse of me fixing an E-maxx

Slow-mo video of E-Revo and Summit

Slow-mo video of a failed "Rocket Maxx"

"Secondary Lions" movie in 43 seconds

Summit - testing this camera

Summit in the snow - testing this camera

Summit review in pseudo-HD (You may have already seen this one, but now it's in HD quality.)

enjoy.

Also, if you enjoyed these a bit, I just ordered a new Sony HDR-SR11 with a cool 240fps slow-mo mode, and the weather is getting nicer, so expect lots more videos coming up this summer.

Nice slowmo vids. Interesting camera choice. Red some reviews and looked at some slowmo samples. The camcorder still captures in full HD while recording at 240fps but reduces bitrate. Too bad slowmo recording is limited to 3 seconds (realtime). Should suffice if you are planing ahead your shots otherwise you might miss the action. Good to see though that Sony has adopted this interesting feature.

Looking forward to see some vids.

I prefer the slow motion vids and watching the suspension articulate. The fast motion vids are ok; the emaxx bulk replacment being my favorite. The movie in 43 seconds simply looked like the little display window in DVD Shrink when re-encoding.

Thanks guys. Othello's slow-mo videos are what made me look into getting better slow-mo in my videos. I wish the 240fps was more than 3 seconds real-time, but I'll definitely be setting up the shots when I use it.

I want to do some good weather time-lapse videos. I also plan on doing some super-slow-mo videos of jumps, landings, and cornering for the suspension stuff, as I enjoy it too.

Feel free to give me ideas of stuff you'd like to see, and I'd be happy to accommodate!
