So...this weekend I was looking to buy a used Losi 8T v1 roller, I was involved in 4 different auctions, and lost in all 4. Considering that Nitrohouse has a brand new roller for $329 I didnt want to pay more than $250....Is it me or are people stupid or just uninformed......everyone of the auctions involved former race trucks and so I was thinking "they must have been beat on to some degree" and they all went for over $300 a piece.

I ended up buying a new one from Nitrohouse

I once sold a used charger for $30 more than what they sell for new.

I didn't mean for that to happen. I started the bidding at $4.99 and the idiots took over.

I believe I read in a book I have about Ebay. Dont try and figure out why someone would pay more for something that they could get cheaper somewhere else or at a local store.

It amazing what people want/will buy. I had 3 electronic boards for a Shocker paintball gun. I listed what was missing or broken. And that I would not guarantee that any would work. I made $28.72 plus shipping and got my usual "positve" feedback.

I flipped many parts and made $75-$100 on stuff that I have maybe $35-$45 in.

It's great that you dont get carried away on the bidding like others and pay more than you want to. But other's still have their reasons for paying more I'm sure

I think the reason for my buyers was that they didn't bother to take a few seconds to look at the other listings right next to mine.

Could be something else though, I guess.
