Anyone into So Real Concepts Die-Cast? - 03.11.2009, 04:36 PM

I've seen these a few times and was intrigued by them. I'm just a big kid still, I guess. Anyhow, I picked up one on eBay today and may end up buying more of them. Anyone here into them?

They look pretty nice, but kind of a limited selection, eh?

They've had more available in the past, but they're limited releases, so they sell out. I believe most of them are limited to under 1000 units of each model and color, while some are limited to less than 500.

i came close to getting a 'muddy' H2 before...but hesitated, and never did get one. i wasn't sure about the 'mud'.... it could look authentic, or look like brown paint splattered with a tooth brush, heh.

I have a couple die-casts on a credenza in my office. One is a 1/18 scale Maisto Porsche Carrera GT (no big deal), the other is an Anson 1/12 scale '98ish Black Dodge Viper RT10. This one is nice; has elasticy seat belts and cushiony seats. Detail is pretty good except for the underside. Here is a similar model, but I paid $80 for mine: http://cgi.ebay.com/1-12-Anson-Dodge...3A1%7C294%3A50

Nice looking car Brian. Looks like you got a deal on it too.
