Questions about the R/C calculator - 04.02.2009, 10:29 PM

I plugged all my info into the r/c calculator and it shows I'm geared for 22mph. This cannot be right as the truck is way faster it "seems"

I have a brushless edition revo with the stock gearing which is 18/65. Using 4s and badlands. The only value I'm unsure of is the motor. I see 2 under the Neu section that are rated at 2200 kv. Is 1515 1y the correct choice? If so then what is the deal?

The speed I came up with for your setup is ~30mph. If you're in a small area this could seem fast, but the awesome acceleration can also make it feel faster.

For the motor, you don't have to select a particular one; you can just enter the kv (which in your case is 2200).
