hello,

i'm new to the forums and my names Rich and i'm going to be starting a conversion soon my CEN matrix TR is going to be converted!! i know about the 46 tooth spur conversion and using the buggy diff. i plan on using RCM and tekno stuff as well as the castle monster/2200 combo and lipos!

Hey Rich! Welcome to RC-M! That is going to be a sweet conversion. It looks like you've done a lot of research already. Make sure you post lots of pictures!!!

thanks i have to admit i have spent alot of time looking around the net for answers and what others are using i'll be racing it up at 106 racepark in pembroke NH this year as an E truggy do you race at RCE in mass? our spring fling trophy race is happening on may 23rd would like to see a few more people than last year!

I don't race, actually. TBH I didn't know MA had any tracks. Where is this RCE place? I'll check into it.

it's in fitchburg mass. theres a couple of guys that come up from RCE (RC excitement BTW) to our annual races and a few guys from maine showed up last year i'm trying to get some friends from vermont to come this year as well!

RCE is racing indoors right now but they have an outdoor track also! good size tracks heated pits and on site hobby shop its a nice place!

1. Worcester
2. Abbington
3. Raynham
4. North Adams
5. Northboro
6. Fall River
7. Templeton

Hmm - never knew there was a track in North Adams. My fatehr and brother live there - I could visit them and bring some RC!
What is the name of the track?

Some new stuff arrived yesrterday! Got my motor mount and my buggy center diff with 46 tooth spur trying to dexide if I should go with 2 battery trays or not? In place of the fuel tank and engine?? any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Hey Truggy racer, welcome!

I also have a Matrix TR, there arent many around tho :(


I Am runnin your exact setup, MMM 2200, and 2 2s lipo's

If you run dual packs, then 2 trays might be the best bet

Thanks, the drive train is damned near indestructable... do yourself a favor and ditch the 66t spur.. i used a HPi 52t

I got a buggy center diff with 46 tooth spur for less than 20 bucks off ebay not bad I picked up 2 tekno battery trays and straps as well all I need now is lipos and electronics and of course install it all BTW I'm the only one that races a matrix tr and agree I have put it through the paces and has done well have not broke anything major I've almost had it for a year

I have had mine for just over 6 months, i have broken 2 right front a-arms... both due to driver error :)
