Which Medusa is right for me? - 04.07.2009, 03:41 PM

I'm planning a truggy, probably a 2.0 8ight with the Losi conversion kit. I will most likely be running 4s 90% of the time, but would LOVE the option to throw 5s in there for the bigger tracks. MMM is the ESC of choice.

What do you guys think would be my best bet? I already own 2 Medusas in my erevo and hyper 8.5.

Thanks.

I would personally opt for the 80mm 2200kv for the extra length (cooling capability). Would handle taller gearing a bit better too when you get crazy.

Is the only difference length? How about weight?

Appreciate the help.

I see 70mm in 2300 and in 2000kv. Am I missing something?

I ran 70mm in my 8T 1.0 and that had plenty of power on tap. Temps were between 130-150.

I've tried the Neu, didn't have good luck. I'm sure it was isolated, but still, the Medusa is WAY cheaper. As far as I am concerned the Medusa performs just as well.
