What system for SC10? - 04.07.2009, 12:41 PM

I ordered a SC10 yesterday from a retailer that showed "In Stock" for a great price. I'm thinking about running a 17.5 system in it just to be sure if I ever race it, it'll fit within the ROAR rules as a minimum.

Any suggestions for a BL setup for it?

That does seem like a good deal. Since I just traded the slash off, should I buy it? It must handle better than the slash...

Just the sealed, fluid tunable gear diff alone should make it handle worlds better than the Slash.

That and it is based off a decent stadium truck with a racing design... Nothing against the rustler but it is not the best thing available...

Doesn't come with electronics, though.

But the T4 front end isn't quite as strong as the Rustler's. And if you put a SC10 against a Slash, I'm sure the Slash would win in a durability contest. 'Course it'd have to catch up to the SC10 first...

SH Z-Car, Custom Crawler, 8s Savage, 12s XTM XLB 1/7 buggy, 4wd 4-link rear/IFS Pro4 truck, Custom Hyper 10 Short Course, Belt-Drive Mammoth ST 1/8 truggy, 4s 17.5 MM Pro HPI Blitz

Totally agree with both of these statements. The Rustler is tough as nails, but handles like a turd compared to a T4.
