rustler motor? - 04.13.2009, 08:47 PM

I've searched and spoke with a few threw pm and asking all now. I need a decent motor for a rustler to play with, mostly speed runs some bashing. will run with a mmm on 2-4s lipo.. looking at a feigao 7L ,medusa 36-50-3300 ,4800 whats everyone think? I've heard alot of good about medusa. Been awhile since I've had a feigao,I know they run hotter but should keep temps down being a L can in a rusty. lmk what you think.. Remember don't want to sink a fortune in it and no flm trans so castle/nue are out.

I have a 9L and 4s lipo if you went with a hotter wind it would be too hot for a Feigao mine does get hot and I run a revo 40 tooth spur and a mod1 16 tooth pinion so it is geared up

+1 to the MedUsa motors. I ran a 50mm 3300 KV V2 in my Rustler for a while and it ran great. If you can get a Neu 1506 cheap enough I'm very happy with the performance I get out of mine.

All I ever wanted was an honest weeks pay for an honest days work.
