New Bronco CR01 Kit Coming Out - 05.07.2009, 07:47 PM

I just had to post this, I love the body. Especially with the add on light kit. I really hope it is available separately as I really don't want to have to buy a CR01 to get it.

I think the body is awesome as well. I just absolutely do not like the CR-01 truck itself. If the wheelbase is right, it would look killer on a SCX10.

I have a cr01 and it is well made, but the design is not really a true crawler. Makes a great basher that is crawl worthy. I had a 13.5 novak on in geared for 15mph and it was great to play around with in ditches and other mixed terrain. Not so good on the rocks, some M3 hammers and heavy weight wheels helped alot. I plan to swap the hacker 13.5 motor back in and gear it back up for some speed!

Fun to bash and rock race with, but a big high on the cg to crawl with.

That's where it will be going if I get it, on my SCX10. That little truck continues to amaze me. It is tough as nails and goes where it wants. I believe at worst the wheelbase will be close because I have seen a few use the CR01 Landcruiser on the SCX10. So as long as it's within an inch at most I can adjust. If it's a big chop job I will just get another SCX10 used and go from there.
