Fastlane Diff Cup Question - 03.17.2005, 02:22 PM

I was looking at this:

http://www.rc-monster.com/proddetail...LM13010&cat=31

1. Is this a direct bolt in or do I need something else to install this.
2. It says floating spider gears. So do I need to shim anything?

I'm trying to replace my rear diff with something stronger.

patch

Custom extended aluminum chassis; UE idlers; Feigao 10L; 18.97KWF; 16 Matched GP3300; MIP CVD's; Custom rear driveshaft by RC Alloy's. Racer X shocks

This is a direct bolt in, but aluminum cases are recommended. The diffs may or may not need shimming, just like the stock diffs. This works exactly like the stock diff, but is much stronger.

When you put the diff together check your spider gears for play. LIke mike said some need it some don't. It will strengthen the diff up some. Have the larger screws to so don't have to worry about them.
