Sidewinder issues - 07.10.2009, 04:13 PM

I have a Sidewinder esc installed in my FWD TC. The motor is a 17.5 geared 3.5 to 1. Is there a way to program the esc to eliminate the cogging that occurs at startup? Thanks, Don

Make sure it has the latest firmware, and then increase start power.

i have the same problem in my slash with a 13.5/mmm on 2s no matter what i set the esc at. only way it goes away is when i use 3s. i know the mmm is meant for higher voltage but it was the only spare esc i had lying around, and one of the tracks has a 2s limit for open? the high start power did help a little but it made the motor heat up pretty fast in the slash on 2s. i think i might just get rid of the slovak motor in the end, or run 3s and not race w/ it
