GANG ! I was lost but now im found -
06.21.2009, 10:54 PM
Damn where have I been? Nephew went to kid bahavior rehab for a week. I got stuck going to all the little turds daily therapy meetings because everyone else was convieniently working. Wife had no car, had to drive her everywhere, work at 6am or closing at 11pm, ruined my whole routine. We finally got the ho a Honda "element" the other day (seriously the only car she could get with her credit) Strange car, hated it first glance but man is it fun to drive and may be very useful for RC trips etc with that all-weather interior and weird folding seat arrangement...Weve been working out, riding bikes alot and eating healthy since RCM project X lose weight challenge, I weigh 169 now went from a 36 levi's to a 34 levi's sweet. Kicking out coffee creamer and fast food 5lbs fell off in a week.... At least im left alone in peace now again....
....So today I packed up my Muggy and the SC-10 after packing up a fat bowl and drove to a new track 25 min away. Only track I know of within 2 hours. It stormed fierce Friday and not much evaporated Saturday, I arrived just in time for a light Sunday afternoon sprinkle aswell. So I try to drive the sc-10 on a muddy 1/4 washed out track, nitro guys looking at me like im a lamer 1/2 fag driving my 2wd sc-10 in mud as deep as the wheels..that was fun for 3 minutes. So I whipped out the muggy on 5s and dudes with nitro LST2s and 8Ts were like WTF is that.. Its electric ??? "Whys it so fast ".. 1 guy was running his nitro LST2 for the 1st time and was so bummed he had nitro LOL. Brushless ruled the track even with my suck ass driving.. Now Im getting the 8T back together to go smoke some punks even easier.
Blah Blah Blah.... So what did I miss ?

It's the return of the....oh my god he didn't just say what I think he did, did he, jigga jigga jayjay's back!
Was starting to get lame around here without all the jayjayisms to keep us entertained. Glad you were able to show up some methanol heads at the track and have a little fun in the mix.

Haha Kcaz- no evidently the ignorance is widespread. I still love the "is that nitro?" after not seeing me start an engine, not hearing an engine, not smoking like an engine, reversing almost instantly, and coming to a stop silently.
And somehow these people manage to bathe without drowning...

Thank God you are back... Gee and myself have been pointlessly rambling since you were gone, and I think Harold just quit posting. Some of the other members (rawbuns in particular) have been trying to insert some humor, but it is just not the same. Glad to hear your pants fit better.

NICE to see you back. Beatne up on some nitro vehicles sounds like a lot of fun to. I wonder how many of them are now looking at either conversion projects or even purchasing new "E" vehicles. Let the revolution begin.

That was literally my 1st time on a track since about 1994 in Huntington Beach CA. I could pull up 8-10ft before the biggest jump, floor it and fly about the length of the track. You could hear kids going "oooh man"" "wow did you see that". I was laughing behind my controller pretending not to hear them, then the nitros started back up and the kids were all " whats that gross smell". The nitros needed to go around the berm gaining speed then hit the big jump, I tried that, full speed on 5s CC combo and flew so far and high I was sure it was the last jump of the day (or ever for the muggy). I had that feeling when you jump your dirt bike too high and just say to yourself "this is gonna hurt" but I nailed it perfect to the excitement of the kids and relief of me..even the nitro guys were amazed. Tried it many times after but never with the same length height and perfect landing, nothing broke though.. I was wearing my RCM shirt representing the posse being quiet but had to answer some questions by some astonished spectators and racers. I was just told them look up rcmonster.com, im running the CC combo, my Muggy used to be Nitro too LOL... No one doubted the brushless that day !
