I have done a GT Ferrari conversion

See what i have used

MGM / FEIGAO 7XL / 6S 5000MAH

MGM / FEIGAO 8XL / 6S 5000MAH

MGM / NEU 1515 1650KV / 6S 5000MAH

MMM / NEU 1515 1650KV / 6S 5000MAH

MMM / NEU 1527 1D / 6S 5000MAH

The best setup was MGM / NEU 1515 1650KV / 6S 5000MAH

with the MMM i would lost ABS and traction control, in that case isnt a good thing but still very good....

and for the experience with the GT car, a good low Kv motor is perfect < 2000kv......

my next buy to make speed runs with gt cars will be a 1521 1Y motor.....

Hi Cornolio i have converted a IGT and used the 2200kv MMM setup on 6s. For a single speed i purchased kyosho center diff off ebay. You will need to run a longer shaft in the rear as the two speed is longer than the single. However there is an rc-monster adapter that you can buy with gears to let you complete a two speed electric conversion, as well as a plate that replaces the servo plate which will allow you use the brake servo to run mechanical brake. Do a search on forums for Kyosho Inferno GT conversions as Joe Ford from Castle creations has done a very good one and posted it here as well as on rccars.com. It has step by step pictures and all the conversion parts are from RC-Monster.
