New MBX-6Te - 01.12.2011, 02:06 AM

Hi,

This is my first BL conversion. Also my first build of a truggy. Nice quality parts, both Mugen & RCM. Setup is stock (per supplied setup sheet). It was a pain to apply that sticker skin. We'll see how long that lasts.

Tekin Rx8
T8 2000KV
Hitec 7955TG
AKA I-Beam
4s, 15T pinion.

Only driven it once. Impressive machine. I'm not planning on racing just yet, perhaps this summer as I think there is a track being built nearby. I will be putting in a Slipperential. Mine requires a spacer to get it to fit in the center diff just right. RCM has them on hand.

I thought I might try a 5s battery, though I would expect it would be a little overpowered. Might be fun though.

Gonna go make some sweet jumps.

The receiver case is made by Traxxas. I think it said it was for a Rustler. Works nice. Anyone got any tips on how to seal up the ESC? I don't plan on running in too much water, but here in the Pac. NW it's always around this time of year so I thought I'd try to minimize the moisture exposure to the electronics as much as possible.

I have been running that exact same set-up since Sept 2009. I race. I love it, and does extremely great in our club scene (dominates, but I am the only brushless for now...). I run Fightmax 5800 4s batteries. I also run the Mike's slipper as well.

Geared 15-16T. I feel like 15T is the sweet spot (slipper is 46T).

Great rig, and welcome.
