My first order with GorillaMaxx.. - 06.10.2009, 12:57 PM

I have placed my first order with them. I am a little unsure as to how soon they get stuff out, and do they give shipping confirmation. Anyone order directly from them?

I completely forgot Mike sells the G Maxx stuff until after I ordered it

Oh yeah, I ordered the Slash chassis

Assuming it was in stock, and you arent overseas, then they should have it with you inside of 3-5 days generally. Unless its being shipped via an expedited service with tracking listed as a specific option, then they usually just email you to say its been despatched, and then the waiting game begins...

I completely forgot about the pics..

I am impressed with this thing. It came packaged with all the needed hex screws and some cool decals. I am a sucker for carbon fiber

Very sexy... that chassis calls for some new wheels/tires though!

Agreed

My time has been taken up with my SC10 build so she got put aside for a bit. I think it's time for some 17mm adapters and SC8 wheels and tires. The stock body has to go as well

What's the max width for a battery in the tray? My 6s lipo doens't fit in the stock chassis, and I need an excuse to buy this chassis....

I don't have calipers..but i measure 1 7/8" width. If more room is needed, you could easily sand or dremel the sides of the top plate to get it to fit.
