I really hate to see this happen. I know times are hard though, but they were very competitive.

Ok, so who's gonna sell me a Medusa 36-80-2000kv now?

That sucks. They couldn't just raise their prices or thin out their product line? I hope a new company pops up so there is a low priced alternative to neu and german motors like medusa was...

Bollocks, thats rather annoying.

And most of the good stuff is already sold out (including the 80mm 2200kv motors as I just discovered).

Its a damn shame, but atleast Castle have the MMM2200kv, and the upcoming 1800kv larger version.

Still sucks though, really put a damper on my mood...

I wonder if a medusa rep could chime in and let us know the story. Hopefully castle or someone can step up and make a strong, fast, 4-pole, slotted, cheap motor like the good ole medusas.

This sucks! Guess I'll def be holding on to my 70mm 1600kv, good backup for my 1515 2.5D. It's hard to justify $260 for a motor let alone another $260 for a spare, the $125 that I spent on the Medusa was well spent. The motor worked great in my Revo so I will keep it packed away. I also hope my 36-50-4800 holds up for a long time in mt CRT.5 cause I won't cheap out on a HC motor and even though the smaller Neus are cheaper they still cost more than the Medusas.

RC-Monster RC8T 1515 2.5D/MMM/5s RC-M 4500mah
SC10 MMPro 13.5T 2s NeuEnery 5000mah
RC18T Mamba 25/5400kv 2s lipo + 6s NiMh

You've felt the power of the Medusa, haven't you?

In fact, on the desk here in front of me, is the Medusa 36-60-2000kv that you once owned.

I just got it a few days ago. Remember, it being sent in for repair?

As a testament to Medusa's GREAT service, they did an excellant job!

It has a new shaft with new magnets, plus new bearings. It is as good as new again and ready to give hours of fun.

I now own 5 Medusa Motors.

2 of the 36-60-1500kv motors
2 of the 36-60-2000kv motors
1 of the 36-70-2000kv motors

I didn't have a chance to get my hands on a 36-80-2000kv motor, but I have heard alot of good things about them.

I've ran a 36-60-2000kv motor in my E Revo for a long time now. At least 30 packs worth. It's never given me a problem.

I just took it out to install the 70mm motor.

After all those packs, this 60mm has ALOT of life left.

I have a 36-50-3300 motor now and I stripped a mounting hole. What the hell can I do now...

We need a medusa rep to chime in and tell us more details about repairs and the old shop etc.

I love medusas, and I hate to see them go out of business.

Ask and you will receive.

The Monster has the answer!

4th item down the page.

Be sure to select the Medusa option from the drop down menu.

In case you're wondering what it looks like, I just now installed one.

It's GREAT!

I noticed you have to be careful which 3mm screws you use. Not all are exactly the same. For instance, the mounting screws Traxxas uses in the Slash are exactly 2.87mm. While most of the 3mm screws I have in my bin are 2.95mm. Yeah, it's pretty close, but enough to make a difference.
