Let me start by saying that I'm on about my 12th MMM because of various cars/trucks that I have purchased and sold and so far have only had 2 that died for no reason. Total I think I have killed 4 (2 as the above mentioned unknown, 1 way over geared in tall grass and one my bro-in-law drove into a very large waterhole, not mud puddle, waterhole.
So anyway I really like the MMM and CC. I just installed 2 MMM's in my TXT-1's, total overkill but I really like the monster. The first was a used MMM from a RCM member, I installed the 3.22 software and latest firmware and had a hard time getting the MMM to arm. I have always used the same radios
Airtronics mx-3 fg FHSS 2.4 ghz. I usually leave these radios at stock settings. I had to call CC support today to make the MMM arm. I adjusted the Sub-T on the radio and finally it armed. Very happy!
So I move on to the other TXT-1, same setup, except its a brand new fresh out the box MMM, same 3.22 software and latest firmware. I set all the buttons the same on this radio to match the other radio, thinking the MMM would arm. Nope, after many attempts and several button pushing attempts, nothing will make the MMM find full reverse endpoint while doing the arming steps.
I would just go back to the old firmware, but I have a Mac here at home and have to go the neighbors to adjust the MMM's if I want to change them.
Anyone else having any problems? Usually this is like a 5-10 second deal and its time to play.
BTW the MMM are powering 2 stock 540 brushed motors on 2-2s 5000 lipos in parallel. I'm thinking 2s and 10000mah should make for some decent run times.
Can't help with the firmware/arming issue, but have your tried running Virtualbox on your Mac? Pretty simple to set up; just install the package, set your HDD allotment, and install XP on the virtual box. Not sure if CLink will work, but better than driving to get it set.
