Burnt my ESC - Need a new one - 12.13.2009, 08:50 AM

Hi

i am looking for a new (or used) ESC for my Savage XL conversion, i am driving it on 4S with a 1900kv Hobbyking motor in it.

I am a student and donīt want to spend so much money on it.
Under ~80$ would be good.

For example:
The new Hobbyking one (but out of stock)

Or this one would fit too i think.

Or a used Mamba Monster Max.

I anyone has a used one or advice for a new one I would be thankful.

Regards,
DanteX

Know how you feel- im a senior in high school w/ no job.

Word of advice.. save your pennies- buy a used MMM (they go fo $100 all the time) it will save you hassle in the long run

You get what you pay for.

Your title esc killer doesnt suit you. I should have that title. fried about 6escs in the course of a month over the summer.

With electronics- you get what you pay for.

Id skip the hobbyking esc and go for castle. better quality control and a better end result

To be honest, you'd probably be able to get by with a regular Mamba Max (not Monster). Finding one for 80 should be pretty easy.
