Tekin T8 Motor = 4 pole sensored?

Pardon me for just waking up to this fact.

But the Tekin T8 Motors are 4 pole sensor based?

If this is true, it's a great design IMO.

Is this based on the same Neu design that Medusa used and Castle uses for their motors?

Does anyone have pictures taken during a rotor swap?

They do have iron core fields? 4 pole rotor, with 12 slot field?

Yes, the Tekin motors share the same design as the Neu motors(with sensors) - They are great motors.

It's just as I suspected. LOL I always wished for a 4 pole sensored motor.

Should've gotten an Aveox back then. I got to have my collection together, I like them a lot . I even modded a Aveox to work with my sensored ESC.

The truggy motor is 1515 sized, the buggy 1512. Get a newer motor, as the first run had some rotor issues.

lots of new rotors out there, you can tell by the alloy front plate on the rotor.

the tekin motors are "statorless" meaning they don't have the drag brake like the neu/medusas do

No, sold it before I had a chance to. Seemed nice, not really worried about sensors though. CC make a good enough startup for me. Anyways, the truck flips over no matter what!

Statorless? Meaning they aren't iron core stators?

mabey I was wrong, but they don't have the drag brake like neu/medusas have, they are extreamly easy to turn by hand(think CC 540 size motors)

Yeah, they are definitely slotted - I can feel the notches. They're not as pronounced as a Neu, but still there. The cores probably just have a wider area so they don't concentrate the magnetic field as much, or the magnet itself is wider.

I have Neu motors that a hard to turn by hand and I have some that a easy, but they both work the same. I think Neu went with a more efficient way with the design as the newer motors are less notchy (Is notchy a word?).
