My new additions to the family - 12.25.2009, 05:39 PM

So a few of you know of my OCD and when I get on a new tangent and on this one I am fully consumed. I also have a bad habit of shopping and researching more then building and running....well some of this it to blame on my jobs long hours. This year my new thing venturing into the Monster Truck segment. I have sold about 10 rigs over the last months to buy these for my Christmas gifts. The fleet is slim now but MUCH more manageable. I have to say though there is sooooo many options and ideas floating in my mind for my MT builds that Im going in so many directions. I am now broke and looking at my leftover stuff and wondering what else I can sell to fuel this new obsession. Plus I am revamping my crawler. I need more money and time now is all....lol.

I want to wish you guys a merry Christmas....as this IS my fav site.

So here is the platforms....One may become a super MT Baja with paddles as I live in the Desert. The other is heading toward a Tonka toy looking MT build with Ugly amounts of Torque.

HeHe, you will like that XXL, most lkely better than the Savvy if you set it up right! I have both (my lst2 has a stretched chassis and my ss savvy is basically past flux spec now) and the lst never ceases to impress with the "bottomless" suspension and great handling.

I am sure you can get 100 bucks for all of the nitro goodies...

The TiN coated spurs are nice, they mesh very well with the RCM pinions and seem to wearing very evenly for me. I need to get the lst back rooling again. Just need to get a set of New Era knuckles for the front, they are great!

I like the 4pk too, but I have a pair of m11 radios right now, so I will stick with them.

If you build one with a NovaRC/similar Diff cup and shim well they will last a looooong time w/a properly set slipper.

I retired from RC, now life is all about guns and long range shooting.
