2 questions, mgm80 and FLM rustler chasis - 03.08.2006, 06:46 PM

1. Does the MGM80 amp ESC come with the gold connectors and wires? Or do I need to buy them seperate.

2. What comes with the chasis? Looking at the pictures it doesn't look like it comes with any sort of battery hold downs, do I need to get them seperate? If so, what should I be looking for? Will I need to use the stock steering plate with the chasis or does it come with a new one?

Thanks
Pete

1. It only has bare wires.

2. As far as I know, there aren't any battery hold-downs. I believe these battery cups should mount up though:

The stock upper deck is needed.

Thanks, Does the ESC require those gold connectors or can I just solder the wires on?

I like those battery cups, seems better than just a battery strap or two :D I plan on making my own upper chassis with 1/16 steel or 1/8 plexi, try and squeeze room for a longer battery.

1 more question, How does the FLM chassis compare to the Stock in weight? I see some of the MAXX chassis are actually lighter, but some are heavier, just wondering where the rustler sits.

My local track is finally allowing BL this season, so i'm trying to get it setup again since my 7018 burnt....with a few more upgrades :)
