XXL LST finally...super slow build!! - 02.24.2010, 04:13 AM

So I finally got some progress on my XXL. I got this stuff together around Christmas. Here are some pics in the current stage. I have some different wheel/tires I will soon put on, and a new Boulder Body by proline. I dont know how I am going to like the body though. Anyway....

Sorry guys it was late. Its a new XXL conversion with TDR conversion and the Castle/neu 1520. It was not a difficult conversion its just I work a lot of hours and I really took my time.

I have yet to really run it yet as I have some more plans for it. I can say that just running it around my living room tile I was happier then a 4yr old on christmas morning. I love its size with the huge tires.

Come on now, if you're that excited about it, you could give us some more detail...

Is that the TDR single speed conversion hub?
What spur is that?
5S or 6S?
Gearing?

Working on a new body as we speak.....its a bit too stock for my taste. In my typical style, when I start to actually run it I will beat the snot out of the stocker stuff body/wheels ect, and have shelfer body/wheels. I wanted to have the body done tonight but its been a slow go of it.

we should race your lst against my savage flux over at the silver bowl racetrack (near sam boyd stadium) one weekend. i had my flux there last weekend and for a top-heavy mt, it didn't do half bad.

They say a good mechanic only needs 2 tools - WD40 & Duct tape. If it moves, and its not supposed to, duct tape. If it doesn't move, and its supposed to, WD40.
