I was gonna wait till I ran it prior to posting but I had time and was bored. I will not be able to do a real test until maybe Weds. I've run it in front of the house to check range but have yet to hit any jumps etc.

I purchased a couple 2 weeks ago and found them easy to use. I have been using them in an e-revo and savage flux.

I had to modify some balancer extension leads so that each 3S lipo pack could be wired up in series to the the 6S connector on the device. That way I can see the voltage on each cell of the 3s x2 packs. This is easy with Hobby King's own Turnigy type packs.

It gets more interesting when you are trying to design the leads for the Thunderpower Balance connectors to the JST-XH leads that hobbyking prefer. Thunderpower have a totally different way of wiring the balancer leads.

Yeah, Thunderpower is will actually have 2 balance plugs on 1 6s pack. Its wierd.

Thanks for the demo bondo! If I get one, I'll definitely be picking up the flexible antenna as well.

Very very cool. I am going to get one of these for my MGT, looks like a valuable tuning tool and could help with adjusting your driving style to get longer run times when racing. I'm looking forward to some test results with it.

Does look rather nice, may have to treat myself in a few months.

On a side note, I always had this vision of you being a young squeeky voiced teen Bondo, not some gruff old pro..

So have you had a chance to test out that 4500mahn 30C Hardcase Lipo yet?

I got myself a few of those too, but haven't had a chance to try them yet.

They look really good though.

Do you have to have a 2.4 radio for this to work, or will it work with my FM m8 radio ?.

Nothing to do with the frequency of the radio - in fact when I purchased the item I was worried that the telemetry system's 2.4ghz may interefere with the Radio's 2.4GHZ system. It does not appear to do so.. this becomes more critical in my Heli's where the range is more important due to the distances and intereference could result in a costly mishap. I think running with a FM radio maybe better??

I know that switching the microwave over inside the house severely limits Wifi, my Tx Radio on 2.4Ghz and other devices operating on the 2.4GHZ spectrum such as Bluetooth. So I cannot be 100% certain that there may be no intereference having 2 units operating on 2.4GHZ next to each other (the unit is supposed to fastened to the 2.4GHZ antenna using a clip)

Sigh...I love the Xtreme Grip but to charge 12bucks for it shipped to Singapore is dumb. It only costs a couple of bucks by normal air mail.
